Sacramento Independent Film Festival is a quarterly online awards event take place in Sacramento.
Sacramento has a rich history in ;lms and television. Since 1914 it has been featured in movies such as Showboat, Huckleberry Finn, Lucky Numbers and Memoirs of a Geisha. The popular TV show The Mentalist was set and shot here.
Pastoral farms, rivers and streams, industrial parks, vibrant city scenes and small towns are all within a 30 minute drive from downtown.
Sacramento Independent Film Festival is looking for independent projects from all genres and categories, particularly low or no-budget ones. The festival’s mission is to celebrate ;lmmaking from around the world. All of the winners will receive the oRcial laurel and an achievement certi;cate and oSer the option of online screening.
