Sacramento Independent Film Festival is a quarterly online awards event take place in Sacramento.

Sacramento has a rich history in films and television. Since 1914 it has been featured in movies such as Showboat, Huckleberry Finn, Lucky Numbers and Memoirs of a Geisha. The popular TV show The Mentalist was set and shot here.
Pastoral farms, rivers and streams, industrial parks, vibrant city scenes and small towns are all within a 30 minute drive from downtown.

Sacramento Independent Film Festival is looking for independent projects from all genres and categories, particularly low or no-budget ones. The festival’s mission is to celebrate filmmaking from around the world. All of the winners will receive the official laurel and an achievement certificate and offer the option of online screening.
